You can screw them, nail them, and also cut them easily with a saw or knife. Resistance to fire is another great feature of the gypsum boards. The core of the boards are noncombustible and by chemical composition contains 21% water. When the board is exposed to fire, the chemically contained water slowly turns into steam, and this avoids catching of fire to the board and components nearby.
